fictional... team

i know some of the ryan fans here are having a tough time dealing with the idiocy of the 39 team and appears no changes are on the way. if you had a chance to put ryan in the ideal situation what team would it be for? there is no wrong answer, any team, any car.....

My pick would be the 17, RFR always have decent cars, especially, the dreaded 1.5 miles tracks, ryans down fall, plus Jimmy F, would be a good fit for ryan, they dont get that emotional, and Jimmy F, is a proven winner...

the lil hush over the last year is ryan going to the 20 car, and SS posted something that backs that up

If Ryan was to go to one of the top three teams would be fine with me. Although this particular year seems ford has some motor advantages. My main thing if he was on one of the top three teams equipment would be there so paring him up with a CC with be key.
Just plugging him onto a team, I would think the 18 team. They have such adjustability in their cars & all the JGR pit crews are always on top of their game during the race.
I like your 17 pick as well, because that pit crew rocks as well.
If I was just trying to pair him up with a CC. I would love to see Alan Gustafson coupled up with Ryan. Think their attitudes would mesh well. I believe he is one of the most underrated CC on the cup pit boxes. Also can be pumped up to keep the team pumped up, smart, can fix a car during the race, & not only has something to prove, but more importantly, wants to prove who he is. I love his energy during a race. Pit Crews (team) will respond to that.
