Now your making homosexual jokes? Wow.

If Ryan leaves, he will be replaced. Simple as that. By who that remains to be seen.

yeah I did that. it doesnt scroll down for me, so the only part I can read has Pemberton talking & has nothing to do with Ryan. So I dont know what the link says. but I find the tweets interesting.

On top of what I already said the tweets were saying J.Gluck says
RT @jeff_gluck: Tony Stewart wants Ryan Newman back at SHR, but Newman has permission to look elsewhere in case funding isn't found

&

RT @DNewtonespn: tony stewart says he will do everything he can to keep ryan newman with shr in 2013. #NASCAR

That's what I figured. It all has to do with sponsorship. It will be interesting to see what works out. Ryan is in a great spot right now. He has Tony willing to do anything for him to return, and a few good teams out there that could use his services. This won't be resolved for a few months like the Carl Edwards deal. Though I would say Ryan is second to Kurt Busch as far as free agency goes.

actually Jamie would fit in at SHR pretty well. Good driver that doesnt wreck equipment & doesnt have an ego, so he could take a back seat to Tony. If Ryan left & Jamie had sponsorship I could see that happening. Tony is a better teammate than Juan is!

thing is the reason RPM didnt take him, was because their sponsors said no, they didnt want Kurt. (according to Petty) So Kurt might not be the top FA, if Sponsors are turned off by him.

Jamie was on the shortlist of drivers for SHR in 2008 right behind Ryan. But he stayed at Roush.

Jamie and Tony get along well so it could work. But he has a long term contract at Earnhardt Ganassi. I bet he is regretting that right now. Though I have a feeling that he is a Ganassi lifer. I'd rather him come to SHR in a third car anyway then him replacing Ryan.

Tony would be a #### of a better teammate then Juan. But wouldn't anyone?

That is true in a way. But I don't like RPM really was willing to fight for Kurt anyway. Robbie Loomis wanted him. Robbie has since been let go (had any correlation?). If a team wants a driver, but the sponsor is weary, then you fight for that driver.

Saturday night hurt Kurt's chances. So perhaps he isn't the top free agent anymore. But he is a former series champion, and that holds weight. Some good team owner will be willing to work with him.

Re: Ryan's silly season

its funny how the 51 had a sponsor all of last year, may not have been a big money sponsor but they had one, now the only one they get on a regular basis is from MR H...

Re: Ryan's silly season

I find some things interesting.

Tony said that he just doesn't want to leave Ryan out to dry if they can't find sponsorship. I really don't like how that sounds. Jack Roush said the same thing about McMurray. Childress said the same thing about Bowyer. They both ended up losing their rides.

Kenseth doesn't have sponsorship, but Roush is working on resigning him anyway. I wonder why Tony can't do the same.

If your Newman do you..
Go to the 20 with full sponsorship, top notch equipment.
Stay at the 39, the sponsorship is meh, top notch equipment.

I think it's obvious.

Also Tony said when asked if he has any issues with Kurt that he hasn't had a problem with Kurt for years. Hmm.

there I fixed it for ya!
BTW I think it is only assumptions, that the 20 team has talked to him. I am not sure that is true. (just wishful thinking on my part)
