NEWMANS BAD LUCK STRIKES AGAIN!

Well as luck would have it. Newman gets spun out at the end of the race. Not sure he had anything even if he wasn't spun out? He finished 23RD.

One of Ryan's pit crew guys tried to start some stuff with Kurts pit guys. Just racing emotions folks.

Stewart was clearly the best S/H car all race long. Nothing new there.

Johnson wins and gives Hendrick his 200TH win........

The racing wasn't bad I thought.

Newman is still 13TH in points I guess because of his win. He is actually tied with Paul Menard.

Ryan can't seem to catch a break. It's a shame that he had such a poor run at one of his best tracks.

Something has got to give for this 39 team. It is time for a change. Only concern is that most teams that swap ccs mid season don't make the chase.

He has awin at least, and Hamlin made it in on 1 win, so he has great chase chances as of right now.

As for JJ winning... Well that just stunk right there. I'm avoiding post race stuff for the JJ/HMS love fest that you know will happen.

if there is a love-fest it is well deserved, your always bitter when he wins, but you dont have to worry, i wouldnt post anything about it, cuz no one here appreciates it, too much jealousy.

If he would have pitted with the 14 and 17 when they were good to go on fuel like I wanted them to, they wouldn't have been back there. But I guess what ever makes sense isn't what Gibson wants.

They won't make any changes S14. They are convinced that everyone is doing there best. These guys may be contracted?

No matter how bad your race team is. Owners never seem to make any changes during the current race season. They should but won't! Newman is still getting a big pay check so it's NOT about money. Pride is the only thing he has left at this point!

Look at the bright side,least Ryan's luck isn't as bad as Jeff's this year.Don't believe Joey Lagano made any friends the end of the NW race Fri.night either,ruined both Sadlers and Hamlins race and Sadler was set to take over the points lead. Felt bad for both Ryan and Elliott this weekend,Jeff not so much,he once stated we make our own luck.Think he might want to rethink that one a bit.

I find it hard to feel sorry for any other driver other than Ryan after all these years as a fan. His racing career has been so up and down year after year after year!

Ryan once stated that same thing wolfgang about making their own luck. And we had a knock down drag out fight about that on Newmans official site many years ago from what we would call,"The Sunshine Club."(the always positive fan no matter what) You can make all the good luck you want but what good is that once your race car gets tossed into a wall? It's not "all" about having the best car in the field anymore. It's lasting an entire race to the checkered flag!

Any 2002 Newman fan knows Newman's MO has been a roller coaster of good and bad and seemingly no in-between. Generally, it's not of his doing and that is what is so frustrating!

I know, it's only racing. And I do not loose any sleep over it. I just want my chosen favorite driver to be able to hoist the Nascar Champion's trophy some day and I don't see that honestly ever happening anytime soon so that may be a only a dream?
