WOW IMO that was one #### of a race today..... very competitive. Congrats to Jeff Gordon and his team for finally finding his way back to victory lane after two years.
It was also a great run for both our SHR boys. Sorry the two tire call didn't work out for Tony (pretty gutsy call w/ more than 20 laps remaining) Both our boys were running top ten all day, and up front leading laps so that was really nice to see. They both find themselves in the top 10 in points (I know it's early yet but still a great start to the season)
And how about Ryan getting through the "Big One" w/ minimal damage? That was a nice piece of driving right there. He was right there when it happened cars were spinning all around him including the 1 of Jamie Mac spinning right around his nose, yet he had the car woed down far enough that the hit was a minor one. Too bad he doesn't have that kind of luck to avoid that kinda stuff at Daytona, He could have won that race and be leading the points right now. OH well he's pretty close to that now.
One more thing.... It is really starting to bother me how Ryan is ignored by FOX and SPEED. No matter what the guy does he gets no love from these guys. Today they interviewed the top four, but couldnt do one more interview and do one w/ Ryan. #### when Ryan won the 500 in 2008 Kurt Busch and Roger Penske got all the recognition for that win. it's rediculous. I think maybe if Ryan sneeks over into the 48 or 88 garage and steals one of the name stickers from one of those cars, slaps it on his own maybe then these moron tv people will talk about him.
