Re: Whoohoo

Congrats to Ryan :!: He had an opportunity on that last restart and he took it. He & AJ raced clean to the finish. Good job!

Re: Whoohoo

What an awesome finish!!!!! Alot of people on Facebook posting all kinds of crap about Ryan only won because he wrecked the cars that were better than him. Guess they were watching a diff race than I was. So happy Ryan never gave up and was able to put himself in a great position at the end.

I know we are only 6 races in but the 39 team is looking pretty good so far. Tubby said on VL that Zippy and Addington were teaching him stuff, maybe he will learn something and Ryan can compete for the title this year. He's got alot of great people around him, and three amazing crew chiefs counting Borland.

On a side note........ I felt horrible for poor David Ruttiman. I really don't think he tried to stop on the track, but all the other drivers, and fans (OMG I could not believe the crap they were posting on his Facebook) are blaming him for ruining the race. The poor guy was almost in tears after the race, and i feel sorry for him.
"He makes me look thinner" Tony on why he picked Ryan to be his team mate. bet he's gonna enjoy his fair share of Krissie's cookies every weekend lol

I'm with you on this one. I watched the post-race interviews David did and he really, really felt bad for causing that caution. Yes, he was limping the #10 around the track with a steering problem, doing the job he was hired to do - keep the #10 car in the top 35 owner points for Danica. He was black-flagged and was going to pit next time when the engine just died and the car rolled to a stop on the track. He didn't just stop on the track because he wanted to cause a caution. I wish the fans would lighten up on him.

Re: Whoohoo

I was in Bill France Tower (Turn 4) so I didn't see what caused "the wreck", but watching the video on NASCAR.com, I can't see how Ryan caused it. Clint Bowyer tried to take real estate that wasn't available.
