Bid on a chance to ride around Michigan International Speedway with Ryan Newman

The Ryan Newman Foundation and Michigan International Speedway are offering race fans the chance to bid on several “Pace Lap Packages” for the August 19-212011 race weekend.

Fifteen of the highest bidders and their guest will have a meet and greet and take photos with Ryan Newman on Friday morning before strapping into a Chevrolet Camaro. Newman will then take the lucky winners around his favorite 2-mile oval track for three laps at top speed.


After the laps, everyone will get a tour of pit road and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garage, along with a Suite ticket to watch Saturday’s VFW 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. The suite visit includes a race program signed by Ryan, food and two drink tickets. All photos take with Ryan will be signed and mailed out after the race weekend.

There are only 15 packages available and bidding starts at $500.00 for two people. To bid on this must have package, visit http://www.ebay.com and type “Pace Lap Package with Ryan Newman” in the search box.

Wish I had the extra $500.00, Michigan isn't that far from here.

They do the same here for Vegas race here to Speedway Childrens Charities.As of this morning to ride with Ryan was up to $600.00

Ryan had a raffle back in 2004 at his Fan Appreciation Day at Michigan that he gave rides around Michigan Speedway in a Dodge Viper. My sister was one of those winners!

i wonder for a xtra dollar if i can drive the 20 car, and afterward we can push each other around.
