I listened to Ryan's in-car audio for most of the race (until I had to go get an RX) and I actually heard Ryan laughing and joking, which is a far cry from what I heard last year. But as I posted once before, with Matt back on the "box" Ryan can pretty much communicate what's wrong with car and Matt seems to have a pretty good handle on what to do to fix it. Take for example today, about 2/3 through the race, Matt asked Ryan about maybe messing with the "packer" to help with the balance and Ryan agreed. On the next restart, Ryan blew through the field and basically told Matt this was the best the car felt all day. He went from 18th to 7th in under 25 laps. All I will say is this, if he can keep from melting "beads" and stay out of other driver's problems, watch out, because I think the magic is back.........(oh and by the way, yes I am drinking the "kool aid", but it is better than rooting for the 22, 18, 24, 48 or let us not forget the savior of Nascar, the 88) my own personal opinion........

New parts seemed to definitely work...only question seems to be about how everyone now knows about these new parts, and when is HMS going to be demanding they get included. I'm sorry until I see the consistent results I will never buy everything is shared between the 2 organizations, since Martinsville last year there's been a major performance disparity week after week, like we hadn't seen before in the previous several years. Was nice to see the SHR's run just as good or better than HMS yesterday though, first time in forever.
