PRE SONOMA CALIFORNIA INFINEON-ROAD COURSE

Was great to see Team #39 pull off a 6TH place finish to stay 8TH in the points. As with most Nascar teams, they still need a lot of improvement or they will be embarrassed IF they make it into the Chase!

I'm not a big fan of these road courses but I'm guessing the Nascar drivers like the added variety on their schedule? I think Newman likes them from what I can remember?

Using stats from 2009 to current. Team #39 has: Avg. Finish-16.50/Avg. Start-11.3/0-wins/3-Top 20's/0-Poles. Kind of nauseating huh! But as with any Nascar race. Anything can happen so each driver of the top tier teams has a fighting chance!

No reason to push the panic button with this race team currently. Consistency is their key for the rest of this racing season very obviously.

The weather here in Ohio has been absolutely crappy all year! Rain, rain, rain with very few consecutive sunny days back to back. You in-doors all winter then our summers are scorching hot with tons of humidity so your....in-doors again till fall!

Is it me or is it getting old seeing Kurt Bush on top of practice and winning poles! He's doing pretty good during the races too.

Ryan leaves Penske and now his old team mate is kicking butt......well in comparison to Ryan anyway!

I saw a rumor on facebook about Newman leaving S/H? It had to be a rumor but where would he go to better himself?

one of the rumors I heard was JGR. Of course any driver who's contract is up has been rumored to JGR. I dont think Ryan is going anywhere. (although Ryan & Denny seem to work well together)

JGR....hum? Much more advanced organization than the current S/H by far! I would be happy with that!

Like I have said. You will never really know the true feelings of a Nascar driver unless you know them personally. That information is kept very secret for family only! He may want a sooner chance at a Championship than much later?
