Wow that was refreshing......

It was so nice to see Ryan out there passing cars w/ his front end first for a change. I was sitting there in the stands watching him and the car looked good all day. I thought to myself after the first pit stop (when he fell back to I think 19th) "well here we go again, He will be running mid pack the rest of the day." W/in a few laps he was up to 15th, then 12th, then top 10, needless to say I got super excited. I thought I had seen an image of him smoking on the jumbotron, (I almost started to cry knowing Tony was having some kind of issues w/ his tranny) but when he drove by I saw no signs of smoke. I didn't find out till I got home and read his Facebook that he too had tranny issues. So for him to run how he ran (top 10 most of the day, passing cars front end first) and to come home w/ a solid top 10, gaining a spot in the points, all while having a bad trans, I will take it.

Maybe having Borland back will help him even though Matt is not on his box

as they went to commercial they showed ryan smokin in the rear, but i never heard why...........

I guess he like Tony lost 3rd gear. They were talking about Tony losing his during a caution so we could hear the loudspeaker (I don't have scanners or any of that) When they showed Ryan they were under the green and so loud I couldn't hear a thing (but thats ok I think they should release a C.D. of race noise I would so buy that lol) When he came around and I didn't see any smoke I thought that I was seeing things on the jumbotron.

well it was refreshing to see him put it all together, like u said maybe matt had a lil to do with it.

Well when his and matt were together they were virtually unstoppable, #### they beat your Mr. 5 time for rookie of the year honers (i know you knew that already) Ryan just fell off sooo bad when Matt left, and I wonder sometimes if matt hadnt left would it be ryan w/ five championships? well at least one anyway

ryan had lost 3rd gear, but when his car started smoking it was coming from the headers. He drove the last 16 laps with the crap & smells in his car.(pocono that is a long time) He was glad to get out of it. But over the radio he said it was leaking out the headers & they were fine. Nascar said the track was clear (no leaks) & he was all good.

Sometimes it goes back to who you have confidence in. Ryan has confidence in Matt and maybe that will make the difference we are looking for. Going to be one heck of a climb to get back torward the top of the standings and in what I consider the "safe zone". I'd like to see some wins.
