POST KANSAS RACE

Just got home. I noticed Ryan finished 15TH 1-lap down.........what ever! Kind of figured by his practice/qualifying speeds it was going to be a long day.

You know things are bad when Penske Racing South wins the race!

Team #39 needs a lot of work or they will be known as a field filler here soon! :x

Newman is still 10TH in points -103.................. 8-)

Your comments please! :D

Re: POST KANSAS RACE

I'm sure all the Roush fans were pretty pissy before the end of last year.

Just like watching a race, everything is cyclicle (unless your name is Penske and you own a Cup team, hence never winning a Cup Title)
Do something with your life and go get me a beer.

Hey jamo14!

As far as I am concerned about Newman. It's not just this racing season. It's the culmination of year after year since 2002 of watching Newman look like @%&*!!!

It just get's super old but what can you do? :)

Re: POST KANSAS RACE

There is absolutely nothing any race fan can do about finishes but come on here and complain and vent. All we can do is hope the next race will get better. It's totally up to Ryan and Tony to be sure the teams are built the way they are supposed to be and perform the way they are supposed to. Ryan has said that he doesn't like the thought of owning a race team because you have to deal with people. So, it may be that Ryan looks to Tony to do more of the "correcting" than him. Not sure, but I'm not holding much hope of Ryan making the chase this year.

Tony's car looked pretty good this race, they just can't seem to get the pit crew to act right. Gas again...you kidding me? I think Tony said they didn't get the tank full and had to come in early. I'm surprised he wasn't fuming. The Tony of old would have been.

I was waiting on your comments L-39!

I'm venting no doubt. If I didn't, I might give up on Newman! Why? He's depressing to watch some times and I'm only being truthful. I'm merely trying to find a the logical answer as to why this race team is sinking? :x

I hope Tony Stewart hasn't gone soft on us? We need him kicking butt on these race teams! :D

Re: POST KANSAS RACE

Everytime I looked, Ryan was going backwards. I don't have a scanner so I don't know what went wrong again. It gets depressing to watch such a nice guy doing terrible. I realize he is 10th in points but if things don't change, he will be out of the running altogether. I hope at todays meeting, they at least try to fix the problem. Tony Stewart is the one that has to be the bad guy here and demand better. Tony has said he likes to stay positive but it's time to act like an owner and threaten to kick butt and make changes if necessary. C'mon Tony, get er done!!!
Those who intentionally live off another’s labor will always want more free stuff!
