PRE LONGEST RACE OF THE SEASON CHARLOTTE!

Here we go folks. If your driver is having a bad day at this race. You may have to double up on those "adult beverages" to keep your sanity!

ANYTHING can and will happen driving 600 miles! Wrecks, blown engines, tires going down and any other mysterious mechanical problem you can think of. Newman use to have a "trash magnet" on his front grill area that would add unwanted heat to his steaming engine! Seen this many times at this track.

This track is generally owned by five times. He has six wins there! But, many teams have "stepped it up" this year so he will get a much more competitive run for the checkered flag.

Ryan Newman has raced at this track 20 times. His best finish has been second with five DNF'S along the way. His average start-6.5/Avg. finish-20.40/4-top 5's/7-top 10's.....9-poles!

As we have discussed on her lately. We can only hope to see Tony Gibson spend more time figuring out proper car set ups rather than pounding down a "Whopper" with cheese! Please Tony my brother, stop making my favorite Nascar driver look so stupid on the track.

Could I do a better job than Tony? Hey, it's not my job!........and your answer would be,"Could I be any worse?"

Enjoy this up-coming Holiday weekend and don't forget the true meaning of Memorial Day! I have to work from today thru 4:00PM Sunday......as if anyone would care!

Ryan was 5TH fastest in practice but yet qualifies 12TH?

I guess these cars can loose their balance from hour to hour! I never will understand it all I guess.

I know folks...to retain any kind of anticipation or positive excitement about a Nascar race. You have to pretend your driver has a great chance at winning every race. But, generally my gut feelings about most races seemingly come true! This comes from watching Newman since 2002. You become a "gut" expert!
