Boring "Chase"

Without Tony in the Chase, or even on the track, I find it extremely difficult to watch the #48 car dominate. Cannot wait until next season. Hope Tony is healing well, for his sake and for all of his fans who are missing him!

Re: Boring "Chase"

I don't necessarily think it's boring this year, Matty and Jimmie are both putting on quite a show. Racing itself just isn't as shiny without MY beloved Smoke.

I'd be good with either of them winning but my pick is.....Matty. He's certainly made a statement since joining JGR.

PS....MJ, I put that in the mail to you this morning.

Re: Boring "Chase"

awesome doc, ty :)

i like it for the fact, it has been clean racing between the two, some say its boring because they are both nice guys and no mud is bein slung. im not knocking what brad did last year, but he and his CC tried to make every race a fuel mileage race, now thats boring, at least matty and jj are racing..
I miss you Frehley........

Re: Boring "Chase"

I think they should put an asterisk next to the 2013 Championship....NO TONY!

I agree! I like Jimmie and Matt, but I would sure love to see Matt win! It's been fun to watch.

I also agree Doc, racing is just not as shiny without OUR Smoke! ;)

Re: Boring "Chase"

The chase has been rather dull lately, but it's the end tracks that are dull, not so much the racing between the two point leaders.
The #29 and #39 are out, so I have to go with Matt Kenseth as I prefer that over someone getting closer to seven or beyond!
I'm sure JJ will see at least seven and I can't take it away from him, he is good and improves all the time. Matt was the only driver I liked at Roush and i'm just happy he did so well his first season with JGR.

Re: Boring "Chase"

I'll bet Jack loses sleep at night going over his missed opportunity with Matty. Then his rookie of the year(whom I believe he expected a little more of) starts thinking with his other head...and loses Best Buy as well.

I met Ricky's Dad last Sunday at the race. He was so sweet and gracious. A proud Dad indeed. I told him I was so proud and happy for Ricky. But what I didn't say was that the Sparkle Pony ain't doin' him any favors. I think what I said was that I'd be praying for Ricky.
