Mobil 1 MasterClass with Tony......

Sat Oct 05, 2013 10:53 am

Despite sustaining a broken leg at an August sprint car race in Iowa, Tony Stewart was on hand at Richmond to guide, advise and lend support to his NASCAR team. And, just in case they need any extra pointers, Mobil 1 asked the 3-time Sprint Cup Champion to tell us all about overtaking.

Thank you Annalee I enjoyed that. I don't know much about racing, but I think I could learn if Tony was explaining. I still might not know, but he's just got a nice voice.

Ditto. Somehow, the races without him just don't hold the same interest for me, either. What am I going to do when he retires?!? :?

I have thought the same HH. Following someone for so many years is grand but that does come to an end. Tony has said tho he'll have race teams out there so he'll always be around. It can be done as Junior Johnson is still being remembered and as for Richard Petty he is as steady a fixture as any one else has ever been.

When Tony does decide to retire, I hope that he may revive his radio show. At least then we can listen to him. He'll always have race teams, so hopefully we'll be able to see him at the track from time to time. I try not to think about it. Tony has many years of Cup racing for us to enjoy. When it's time, he'll know it and we will do what true fans always do - support him and wish him well.
