This piece was hand stitched on linen. It took me about 6 months to complete. The piece took first place at the Weld county fair. I had so many compliments on it. So I wanted to share it with my fellow Tony Stewart fans, and Nascar fans. I thought if tony was able to see this, it might cheer him up at this bad time while he has to be off his feet. Hurry up and get well Tony. All of your smoke fans miss you. God bless. Susan Weidenkeller 14fans@gmail.com

Thanks. My mother is a new Nascar fan, and just fell in love with Tony. She thinks I look like him. (maybe 15 years ago) anyway, both of my parents are hooked on Nascar now. I was able to get my dad, a 71 year old to buy a X-box with the Nascar game. My dad races on the game before each race and my mom stitches. She has won Grand Champion 2 or 3 times. She really wants Tony to see this work of art she has made.

That is crazy awesome, what a talent (not to mention great taste!) your mom has!

i bet if she tried to sell that on ebay she'd make a pretty penny!

To be honest with you, I don't think she would sell it. I wish she could see all the great comment y"all have posted. She would love it. Thanks...

Your mothers talent is awesome. When they say a picture says 1,000 words that is way short of the handwork your mother did. Your mother and her hands are extremely special. Thank you for posting for all of us to see.

Wow! Awesome! I'm working on a counted cross stitch #14 with Tony's signature. That should keep me busy until he returns in February! Get well Smoke!

Great work!
Very cool to hear the story as well, particularly your Dad playing the NASCAR game too. Those can be really tough. The littlest adjustments, and driving style, can make such a big difference in the game, like it does in reality. ;)
