A touch of Humility out of JJ would be nice

Did you hear JJ's post race interview? "I don't think I made a wrong move at all tonight!" or something close to that. Really? Don't we think highly of our self? Didn't he slam Ambrose out of his way bashing him into KK crashing him into the wall? I watched that replay over and over and it looked to me like he did it on purpose. Its his prerogative, after all, but his back patting is sickening.
You can all call me sour grapes now if you want, but his strutting and preening is irritating.

Re: A touch of Humility out of JJ would be nice

I never know exactly what I think of JJ. Like Danica, I'm not necessarily a fan, but I'm not a hater either. I do honestly think that JJ would not be where he is without Chad. With this new car, the 48 team has been good/strong right from the get go. They were, also, when the COT car first came out, too. To me, that is the cc/engineering department being excellent at what they do and then the driver takes it from there. I think he is a great driver, but its his team that catapults him to even more greatness in my opinion. But, I also think that for the most part, JJ keeps his comments and patting on the back to a minimum. This time he didn't (I noticed the statement too), but, again....he has done something that no one else did in the last 30 years! The knocking Kahne out may or may not have been on purpose, but you can't tell me other drivers haven't done similar things. Again, I would expect any driver to be excited about this kind of win, and I expect that making few mistakes during a race is hard....so, guess I'll forgive him a little patting on the back this time.

The man and his team have 5 championships. He's earned the right to be smug. He has more humility than many many other champions in other sports.

I think we dodged a bullet here folks. Looks like MJ has been swigging from that bottle of moonshine he keeps to celebrate the 48's wins.

No one is censored here in any way. Everyone should feel free to post whatever he/she cares to.

If anything a few of us have what you call a sense of humor.

I have a sense of humor, but no sense of direction...like a lot of folks on this site, I always find myself walking in circles

The drivers keep going in circles too. Sometimes 500 times in a single day!
