Yeah I felt super bad for him ... and wanted to offer my shoulder & a snuggle for him .... but then I thought about the massive party at SHR last night. I'm betting no one was feeling too bad...

I'm sure Tony can separate "Tony the driver" from "Tony the team owner." I'm sure he was extremely happy with Ryan's & Danica's performances.

I felt bad too when he got wrecked. I kinda lost interest in the whole race after that.

As far as Tony's resume and going to the HOF is concerned, remember who got in this year (way to soon IMO) without winning the Daytona 500. I know Tony will be in the HOF. I hope he does it with at least one Daytona 500, and I hope I live long enough to see it.

Me too! I am still sad. This isn't getting better..............but I know one thing, when I get to heaven......come Sunday I will be at the races, if he is still driving I will be right next to him and then we'll see who wins the Daytona 500...... Tony will start 6th on Sunday... pretty good.

I am over Daytona.....sorta! When Tony qualifies well.....it's a GOOD THING!! And it seems like the Gen 6 Chevy's are a little bit better than the other makes, out of the top seven five are Chevy's. Toyota's are the other two in that seven.....but with their engine problems, I give the Chevy's the leading edge.

I'm over Daytona in that we can't change it but it sure still gnaws, same as the last 13 (didn't expect him to win his first, was disappointing nontheless when he had motor problems). Still, that's over with, time for the season to start. No clue where he is in driver points given the guys not running for Cup points that finished ahead of him, but it's not a big deal.

Here's to that 48th-career win.

We'll worry about standings soon enough.....but not til we get that first win behind us
