Tony and Ryan problems

Sun Jul 01, 2012 9:49 am

Boy Tony and Ryan had some big issues last night. Hope we have that all out of our system now and can continue on in a more positive light. Happy to see Tony making it to the end and not a DNF. Those extra 9 points may come in handy

The night that wasn't meant to be.. sure, Tony was starting in the back.. but a piece of equipment, that does not cost a lot of money was the culprit. Can you believe that a little camshaft sensor was the demise of the 14 car last night? Kentucky, that elusive track Tony has yet to win on.. wasn't meant to be last night... On a brighter note.. we do have Daytona this week.. you know how Tony loves Daytona under the lights... more now than ever... he must eye the prize this coming week... considering he lost a ton of points to the Top 5.... and the doubters are starting to talk about whether or not Tony can make a championship run this year with this little debacle from last night. I will say, you must give the 14 team some much due credit.. instead of calling it a night last night... then systematically went through the whole system, until they found the little gremlin that was trying to steal the night away. 9 points is a lot these days..but Daytona is a place that 9 points is really nothing if you get in the BIG ONE... best place to be... in the front! The way I see it is this.. BK has the 3 wins .. before even JJ... so now.. it is Smoke's turn to even the playing field. GO GETTEM SMOKE>>> Daytona here we come!

I could have socked my hubby when Tony had issues, he took his head sets off & says with wide eyes "Does this mean we can leave the race & go home now!?"

Made it even worse was our scanner went dead because from that storm Friday, we didn't get the scanner fully charged. At least we got to hear 3/4th of the race. Though he had to have MRN channel to hear the race & not Tony's channel. Hubby set up the scanner so all 4 of us can listen in at once, but it has to be the same channel.

My power got knocked out late friday night. Might be out for another week. I didn't get to see the race. But I listened to the race until my phone died with 55 laps to go. That sucks that Tony and Ryan had such issues. And Ryan just got knocked out of a chase spot too.

I swear when Tony Stewart has issues the radio guys are on it. They yelled "Trouble! Tony Stewart is slow in turn 3!" Scared the #### out of me.

SS14 other than Tonys trouble it was rather boring, that was because Tony wasn't a factor. I never thought I would see pit crews fixing a race car with a computer...duct tape and hammer....computer never. On to Daytona and some better luck! :)

It sounded boring for a radio broadcast even. What position was Toby when he had his issues?

EFI strikes again!

This is your chase to lose. What's it going to be? Ryan needs help immediately! We're tired of defending a champion. Help all of your fans. Say, We got this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

It sounds like maybe he would have had a good night if not for EFI. Thanks NASCAR!
