All things Tony

Well considering how other drivers qualified (Bowyer 23rd, Johnson 27th, Biffle 28th, & McMurray 36th). Not too bad! Long race, hope they get the balance right.

Well I feel a little better, but still I am not convinced they have the car dialed in to Tony's liking. All things considered Ryan qualified pretty good.
Wish they would have interviewed them.

Yeah, no interview.
But I agree, something isn't right with Tony's car.
I am hoping that it is only because they were practicing & qualifying during the daytime (hot track) and already had the car set up for cooler night racing.
We'll see if I'm right or not tonight.

His set up may have been for night racing and he doesn't really care where he starts if he has a good car. I am hoping he starts making the right changes, he is losing ground. Saw him after the first practice smiling and talking with Ryan. He even stuck he head in to talk with Ryan in the car. He doesn't look worried.

I noticed that he looked happy, too. I hope that is a good sign for tonight. I didn't inclide him in my weekly race picks, but I wouldn't mind if he proved me wrong... even if it cost me points.

He hasn't been doing a lot of interviews lately. He struggled in this race last year, but fought hard and finished ninth. His ten lap average was pretty lousy in happy hour though. I didn't include him in my picks too, but hey by the night's end, I believe he'll be fine.
