Tony makes best comeback in decades to win

Sun Oct 30, 2011 6:17 pm

Ricky Craven said it best Tony Stewart made the best comeback in decades in more ways then one. Struggled in the middle of the race, Harvick cut his tire and came back from that to win the race. That puts him only 8 points behind Carl. Tony is starting to play mind games too. I am feeling this guys!

This is the most fire I've seen in Tony in a very long time. Very nice to see and it's definately the right time of year :!:

Craven finally got off kissing the #48s' A$$ huh,oh wait he kissed his @ss cuz he didn't wreck Tony. The reason he didn't wreck Tony is cuz he knows it would come back to him.Craven is a a [never mind] it's great to see Tony in second place and not so great Jr.got into the #11 which got into the #2 and cost him a top ten.The top five are still in it,but if were Tony i'd worry more about the couple cars behind me rather than Carl.Vickers should be drug tested after todays race. Honestly didn't think Tony would make it this far,it's pretty cool and i hope it comes down to Tony,Brad and Kevin at homestead-to which i would be happy with any of the three. Just thought i'd slide that in there.

Tony is 13 points ahead of Kevin and 19 ahead of Brad going into tracks that he has a combined four wins at while Kevin has only won at Phoenix (but twice) and Keslowski hasn't had much success (yet). Edwards has six wins at the next 3. But the way Tony is running all he has to do is keep doing what he is doing.

Got so excited I forgot to proof read lol

If what we saw yesterday is anything like what we see over the next three weeks ... stick a fork in Carl ... he is done.

I like that he is giving the Grandfather's Clock to Darian. According to his post-race interview, it will be the only trophy he has ever given away. :D :D :D

I'm feeling it too - much like what I did in 2005. Not wanting to jinx anything, but, he's got that fire back and Carl better look out. It's going to be an awesome final three races! Too bad I can't really watch them other than via computer, but, I do my best.

This reminds me of the Smoke back in the Gibsb days. The last two years have been good yes, four wins in 2009 and sixth in points, last year two wins and seventh in points. But this year in the chase he has been aggersive espically at Martinsville. He drove hard from the start. He drove hard as #### to stay ahead of Denny Hamlin and not get lapped. He came from the back three times to win. It looks like the ownership pressure is off and all he is concerned is winning. While Carl is still very strong I think this is Tony's to lose right now.
