Re: Davey Allison

Such a sad day For Davy's parents. They have that sadness for both of their sons. I'm so sorry for their loss.

Davey wasnt even close to reaching his potential..he was the toughest man in nascar with all the injuries he endured in the last years of his life...

Re: Davey Allison

MJ is correct...he never got the chance to reach his potential. Like so many in this life the good die young.

I've had the opportunity to meet Mr Bobby on several occasions. He is a sweet old man who just happens to be a nascar legend. No pretense. He will happily sign and pose for everyone.

Re: Davey Allison

Never a fan of any of the Allisons, but I do agree Davey had a lot of talent we'll unfortunately never get to see and I do feel bad for his family as they lost their other son prior to Davey. The Pettys and Allisons for sure haven't had an easy road through a lot of their life.

It was so sad when it happened...they were still getting over losing Clifford and then they lost Davey.

Yeah, Bobby is great...I am fortunate that I was able to have my picture taken with him. He was so happy to oblige and his smile says it all.

Loudon weekend is a tough one--- losing Kenny Irwin and Adam Petty there, then Davey the day after the race.
