Congrats to Ryan & Tony for ther 5th & 7th Place finishes. I guess the 2 tire thing didn't workout this year like it did last year. Good race though.
Have to head back down to Chesapeake, Va today. Nothing to do down there, 'sept unload trucks if they come in this week. It may be boring, but I get paid to be there.

Special referendum vote today. Had to get out and vote. Got drafted at the same time for a committee while I was there. No big deal, they knew I had contacts in our state capital and they knew I was a conservative. There are some idiots trying to prevent big box stores and fast food restaurants from coming to town, but we already have two pizza joints, a Subway, a Dunkin Donuts, and 5 stores already larger than 30,000 square feet. Some of them have been here for more than 50 years and want to expand and this would prevent local businesses from employing more people and expanding. I got drafted onto the Conservation Committee. It is supposed to look at current law, proposed law, our own ordinances, and bring them in line with state law and also give property owners more rights over their own land. Some towns, ours included, give more power to the town and wildlife than the people who are paying the property taxes...freakin' foreigners

Hey, Gang. I was on the road all day yesterday... wasn't on the PC much at all.

Tomorrow... second cataract surgery. May not be on here much for a few days until the eye clears up.
