But I have to share this one story that took place in the three legged race with a couple of twins. I told them to play this just the way I taught them. I had no idea they would take me so literally. We all remember Tony's statement of "Drive it like you stole"...that is exactly what these twin girls did. They ran around the game circle came in third and then stole the first place pin out of their mother's hand. At first they could not believe she gave it up and then made their way back to their team line as quickly as they could so nobody would try to steal it from them.
I then told everybody the story about Tony's statement and what these girls just did. At first the mother was irritated because she thought they were taking the thrill of victory a little two far and being a little over zealous in their pursuit to win. Mom had a new appreciation for what we do in game time. If somebody is willing to give up first place by giving up the pin or running out of fuel, that is their problem. I then got the question of if I own the GMC out front with the SHR Fan on the license plate...I said GUILTY
In Honor of my nephew serving our country out of Baumholder Army Base in Germany.
