jsw14 enjoy the weather. You've said before that you lived in Michigan for sometime. Well since you now live in the sunny south you'll be glad to know you are not missing the 30 degree nights and the rainy 50 degree days. But and of course there is always a but we've had the most beautiful fall colors I think in years. Beautiful red and orange plus yellow leaves situated with the mighty pines. I'm sure you know what it looks like from Harrison to north of Gaylord this year it was early but awesome. No snow flakes yet tho...........

ndunn, I was born & rasied in (Waterford) Michigan I know all about the "beautiful fall colors" But I don't miss the Cold & s-n-o-w!!!! I kind-duh miss the fresh water lakes & goin fishin, but I traded my fishin pole for golf club's I have been to Gaylord & Harrison deer-huntin many of times But, Flori-Duh is the last Stop on the Bus for us

I think probably Florida would be the last stop on the bus. Harrison last year and the year before had outrageous snow depths. My sister lived there and when a person has to shovel the snow off the house, garage and two storgage buildings it was time to leave. Personally I like winter, snow and all but then I don't shovel any more. I did all that when my husband traveled for his job. That was way before snowblowers.
Just remember you have earned every golf stroke and sunny day you can get. Also I would love to see the snow in the mountains that surround Beaver.....I've never seen the moutains on the east coast or the Blue Ridge but I loved the Smokies and the Rockies.
