from what I am hereing, this is my last day in the mountains. Heard I was headed back to Williamsburg for a few days
It got to 95* here yesterday and had a little shower in the evening. Just enough to make it muggy for a few hours. Cool front coming throgh today. Only going to 90 today and in the mid 80s for the weekend.

It dropped down to 65* last night and got up to 94* yesterday. Today is supposed to be a couple degrees cooler, like that is going to feel much different.

I'm sure j had good intentions, Beav.

This time of year, it's hard to find "cool" air in FL to blow up north.

We're sitting at 75* at 10 AM this morn. going to get up to 87*. Last few days it had been low 90's.

Dad went to his first specalist Dr yesterday. That blood thinner is working. They done an EKG on him & his heart was almost back to normal. Now he goes in next week on Thursday for one of many stress tests.

This Dr only comes here on Thursdays, his main office is about 45-60 mins away. So mom said that place was packed (the office near her). His appointment was at 6 PM & they didn't get home until 8:30 PM. Only takes 15 mins to get to the office near her.

So she has to cancel the surgeon that's next week on Thursday for his hernia because this heart Dr said they have to check on his heart & get it best they can before any surgery can take place.

He asked about any strokes, but mom kept telling him they done scans & such on him & said no. But he seems to differ on looking at those reports. He didn't say anything more. He does want some scan done on dad's neck. He didn't say when that was, we just assume when he goes in next week on Thursday.

I would gladly deal with mid autumn, winter, to mid spring. I don't like it when the temps go much above 75*, say nothing for the humidity.

I vote for this idea. The only time I can stand humidity is winter.

We made it home ... All done in the mountains and going back to Williamsburg next week for a few days. Then to Newport News, Va for another shop up-fit.

To is supposed to be in the low 80s, big difference from the last several days of the mid 90s. We had a bunch of thunderstorms roll through yesterday afternoon. Temps dropped from 94 to 77 in a matter of minutes.

A few days away, but KY's race 30% T-storms & high of 89* low of 68*

Why oh why can't it be their Monday or Tuesday forecast of high of only 80

Tropical Storm Debby is bringing us lots of rain with more in the forecast for the next few days. Not too hot, but boy is it HUMID!

Are ya ready for a Road Course?? I guess the best way to see a road course race is Listen to it on the radio, JMO. The tv cameras are never in the right spot at the right time anyway..

I could not agree with you more. Of course my daughter wanted me to lock in on Danica's ride. She did pretty well most of race up until the last lap. She went from fighting for 4th to finishing 12th.

Just read the temps for next week, it is suppose to be 100 Tuesday and 104 Wednesday.....Yikes send hurricane Debbie up, HH... We need to cool this place off!

You can have it, Annalee! We've already gotten 5-6 inches of rain from Debby with no sign of it letting up.

Seems like not that long ago we were baking in the sun with wildfires and I was begging for rain... be careful what you ask for, HH!!
