(CNN) -- Nelson Mandela, the revered statesman who emerged from prison after 27 years to lead South Africa out of decades of apartheid, has died, South African President Jacob Zuma announced late Thursday.
Mandela was 95.

Let's all agree that discussing politics may not be such a good idea here. I'd hate to see feelings get hurt and friendships destroyed. I'd personally like to see us all use our resources and time to support the candidate's in our hometowns in order to make them a better place in which to live.
We can hardly all agree on racing and all that it involves.
Sorry to sound preachy. It positively pains me to see members(especially long timers) get into a whizzing contest.
