Still shocked and saddened by Paul's death. One of my favorite actors. Loved his movies, especially The Fast & Furious series.......

Re: RIP Paul Walker 1973-2013

There are no words to describe the horrible accident. I saw a video and listened to what an expert had to say and it is just hard to focus on what happened. The picture I saw up close was just a pile of metal that was being loaded on a flat bed. A car that has the ability to travel 232 miles an hour has no business being on the street. That is what someone who knows what the car is said was the top speed.

Re: RIP Paul Walker 1973-2013

They first said his daughter was at the charity event, close to the accident scene, but thankfully she wasn't. They released a statement about that today....

~It is unfortunate that claims are being made to the media that Paul’s daughter Meadow was at the event on Saturday when the accident occurred. We want to clarify that Paul went to the event alone. Meadow was not at the charity event on Saturday and thankfully, did not witness the accident. Any claims stating otherwise are inaccurate.~

Re: RIP Paul Walker 1973-2013

i read proceeds from the FnF6 DVD will go to his favorite charity, which is a nice gesture, also this weekend CNN will have a hour long special on him, not sure if it will be just of the accident.

Yea, I heard that. Real nice. That special is supposed to be on Friday night at 9pm central, if they don't change it.

I haven't got to watch it yet. I watched since the beginning too. Awesome movies.....I just wonder how they'll go about finishing 7.......Won't be the same without Walker.

Re: RIP Paul Walker 1973-2013

After taking the last few months off in the wake of Paul Walker's tragic death in a November car accident, production of Fast and Furious 7 will resume in the Atlanta, GA area, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The wildly successful car-movie franchise's future was in doubt following the shocking and sudden death of one of its two lead actors.

THR reports that the producers will "retire" Walker's character, Brian O'Connor, rather than kill him off in order to reset the narrative and move the series forward. While Walker was a central character dating back to the franchise's origin, it has since evolved into an Oceans 11-style ensemble-driven product. With Vin Diesel still involved, along with relative newcomers like Dwayne Johnson injecting life into the last two installments, the FF series remains well-positioned to continue as long as it's profitable for Universal.

Hopefully for fans of the franchise, us included, Walker's character gets a classy sendoff. As a bona fide car guy, he was pivotal in making the Fast and Furious series the enduring (and profitable) enthusiast phenomenon it is today. Don't be surprised if this next installment is the most successful yet.For many fans, it'll be their chance to properly say good-bye.
