That was my thought as well when I saw the programming.

It used to be the Fuel Network...well that is what it was on Time Warner in the line-up because Fuel is now gone and Fox Sports 2 is now there.

Thanks for posting about 2. I wouldn't be watching Fox 2 either, if I did have it! I sure don't like Fox 1. :x They've ruined my motorsports channel!!

Re: So long Speed Channel

I HATED the 1-hour RaceDay from 10-11am :!: :x One hour is simply not enough time, plus, to me anyway, it seemed like they ran a lot more commercials. It was like watching CNN Headline News. Short, choppy segments with no time to get into depth. The behind-the-scenes segment where Rutledge went into the #39 hauler was ridiculous. About all they had time to show was the bowl of candy.

The interview with Ryan around 10:45 couldn't have been more than a minute long. At the end of the hour, the commentators didn't even have time to each voice their picks to win the race - they just flashed a list of their picks on the screen.

I am really sad to see SPEED gone. As a race fan, FS1 has taken away a great in-depth source for NASCAR news.

So far, so "good", Comcast is still delivering FS1 for my cable package. :)

Re: So long Speed Channel

Getting a distaste for NASCAR currently. Ryan losing his ride, and more-so the circumstances surrounding it...coupled with the loss of SPEED. Feeling pretty meh about the whole thing right now. :|

Re: So long Speed Channel

the timing is bad all the way around...Nascar running at full speed, baseball in full swing, soccer kicking away, golf just puttering along, football season already kicking off...if they had waited until mid February we would only be looking at hockey and basketball as the sports with issues

Re: So long Speed Channel

Well just as I thought....all NASCAR will be on Fox sports 2.......  It's PPV on a 10 channel sports package at the fine price of 8.99 a month.....what a rip off, but what am I going to do!!?! That's more than HBO, Showtime and every thing else....I just knew this was going to happen, so if you no longer can find anything NASCAR on Fox sports 1 check there...cause that it were they have transferred all NASCAR on Time Warner.

Re: So long Speed Channel

You are not alone. Many are complaining that their particular cable company does not have FS2 on the same channel tier with FS1.

I happen to get FS2 (Verizon FiOS) but only in SD because that's where the old Fuel channel was set. Maybe they will add the HD version soon.

Re: So long Speed Channel

I do know in the Richmond area, Dish Network has FS-2 on Ch. 398. Compare to Ch. 150 for FS-1
