Anybody else upgraded to Internet Explorer 10

I did the upgrade this morning Internet Explorer 10. I had not noticed anything huge until coming onto this site...anybody want to guess what that might be?

I can tell you a couple of things I noticed just coming to this site...it not only does a spell check, but it fixes those errors when it thinks it might know what the word is and there is also a grammar check. I have also found that if you have words that run on (like that one, oops) it underlines them in red for you to fix.

Has anybody seen any others. It seems like it has taken on some of the software of Microsoft Office Word skills, just enough to drive you nuts.

The iPad does that all the time......it is somewhat annoying....cause it thinks it knows what you want to say and nine chances out of ten that is not what you where trying to say.....you can shut that feature off.......but I don't have a clue how to do it...

I haven't installed IE10 on my Win7 laptop yet, but I found this to turn off spellcheck:

a. Open Internet Explorer.
b. Click on Tools.
c. Click on Manage Add-ons.
d. In the left pane, click on Spelling Correction.
e. Uncheck the Enable spelling correction box.
f. Click on Close.
g. Reopen the Internet Explorer to apply the changes.

I guess the question I have is does it work well? Debating on whether or not to upgrade. I hate when the only changes that are made are ones that are annoying.

Did you ever get this info Annalee? Here's how you do it for the iPod..may be the same, or you may just want to google it and I'm sure you could find the answer there.
Go to:
Settings> General > Keyboard ...there you should see the on/off for Auto-correction and more.

Thanks Jellikit.....I had my 9 yr.old neighbor show me how to shut the auto correct off and turn it back on......it's amazing how much they know how to do on the iPad.......she's my go computer expert...
