i know there are many threads for tv, but i thought this would be good for those who watch shows and want to talk about certain plots before other members get to see certain shows, doesnt necessarily have to be just for tv, but movies also.........
so have at it.....

ok the first scene of bates motel i found interesting, unless i missed something, they didnt say how the father died, but when norman went to get his mother she seemed to act suspicious and frankly when they got to the body didnt seem to be that effected by it. is this how many took it or do you have other views?

What "I" saw that didn't make sense was... when Norman 1st saw his dad, there was blood on the ground.

Amazingly, the blood all went away by the time they got back to the body. Sitting around it and all, no blood. Hmmmm.....

Only reason Mom would take a shower would be to get rid of blood. So what happened to the blood on the ground? LOL

She seemed unaffected by it cuz she has done it before....

I think the character Norman went from shock - My dad is dead in front of me - to being twisted, manipulated and focus changed, by mom.

as soon as thy showed the dad i kinda figured mom killed him, maybe in future episodes they will revisit that and explain it more.

i know you thought a certain scene was too graphic, and i kind of agree, sometimes less is more, but we live in a world where people need to push the edge, i remember when NYPD Blue started and all the talk was how the would slip in the word sh*t or show a bare bottom, that seems tame to todays standards.
