Weekly Picks & Meal Club for 2013

I made my picks and got one right last week. Made them this week and will have to check before midnight to see if they're the same.

Getting around this site better and learning. All the talk of food makes me jealous. I just had 3 teeth extracted Friday and won't be eating anything substantial for a couple of days. Had mashed potatoes last night. "Better days ahead."

Miller Highlife and popcorn for the race tommorow, the mother-in-law is in town for the weekend and doesn't want to eat on a schedule based on when the race is.

Give her $5 and tell how to get to the local Subway Restaurant. Then give her extra to bring back some stuff for you.

Okay. I've been mentored by Beav for the past few days. He told me of the Administrator's pick-em contest that I've already been picking in. Done well so far. Picked JJ first week and Hamlin for 3rd the second week. Just waiting on the update to see where I stand.

He's also told me of a members only club that I can pick the top 3 in any race. He mentioned the "Weekly Picks and Meal Club". which I just went through all the pages. I saw Beav's rules for the pick-em contest and the prize, but fail to see anyone picking any drivers. Do I have to go somewhere else? Where do I pick? How do I pick? Most importantly, am I allowed to pick?

There is one more pick-em contest he mentioned but I will have to look it up and get back with you all.

Beav: Got the overnight package this morning and the UPS driver ate all the shrimp. Please send me some more by USPS and it should be nice and ripe by the time it gets here.

If you go to pages 18 on up, you will get a better idea of how things work now that most of the bugs have been worked out. I will get your name added to list of players for this picks list.

I have also entered your name to list of picks for starting this weekend. With this game you have to get your pick in the correct spot or no points. You get 100 points for 1st place, 50 points for 2nd place, and 25 points for 3rd place. If all three of your drivers come in, in the order you picked them, then you get 200 points. If any SHR driver comes in, in the top 3 you will get 5 bonus points for each driver. However, this only works if you make picks in this game for this week. If none of your drivers are in the correct spot you picked, then you will be sent to the "Weekly Meals Club for 2013"

I know, I am not in this club this week...but who cares...I am busy in the kitchen working on roasting chickens, mashed pototoes w/ gravy, my famous stuffing, home made rolls, apple pie w/ whip cream.

Actually, I am actually doing this for real for tonights dinner. Sounds and smells great in here right now.

Hey, Beaver. I'm supposed to be in the 1 point club this week, but I have yet to receive my 1 point. Guess I'm in the dungeon.

If you made your picks, then you are entitled to dinner not the dungeon. Nobody that I have noticed, my wife included, has gotten their points yet from the administrators.

So, enjoy the chicken n gravy, w/ potatoes w/ gravy, stuffing, and apple pie w/ whipped cream.

Here is is the day before Vegas and they don't have Pheonix updated points yet. I check the standings and I see NascarNanaOK close behind me. I need my points, fast.

She has gone through all her ammo and is yelling for more. Maybe that is why they have not updated anything, there is nothing left of the administrators office and their computers and they all left running for cover.
