I'm Still Here! Pro Football Talk For 12/23/12

My Cincinnati Bengals are still in the hunt for post season so far thankfully!

This past game last Thursday night was UGLY but........Cincinnati won 34-13 at Philly!

My Bengals are now 8-6-0. They really need to win out folks if at all possible?

Cincinnati will be playing the Steelers this coming Sunday in a "very big" game as far as playoffs and division possibilities! I will be a nervous wreck..........

Let's hear about your favorite team/teams college included if you want to!

well the good news is with the falcons taking the Giants self respect, the cowboys now control their own destiny. All they have to do is win. Of course that is easier said than done, with them still having to play the Saints & the Skins, but not to long ago I figured they were out of it all together, so it is still a plus for me.

When my Bengals played the Cowboys. I felt the Bengals played "very badly" and gave that one away! But hey, not the first time they have done that and won't be the last!

I saw the Falcons/Giants score. My Bengals beat them soundly as well.

Well, the last time my Bengals played in the Super Bowl was 1988-1989 and lost to the 49R'S! They also lost the Super Bowl in 1982-1983 to the 49R's. The 49R'S OWNED the 80's pretty much and aren't looking all that bad this year!

And, my Bengals haven't been in the playoffs back to back years in well over 30 years! In other words, I would love to see both our teams in the Super Bowl!

The Cowboys have won 6 Super Bowls(as if you didn't know)........that's plenty!

In the AFC North division the Pittsburgh Steelers have also won 6 Super Bowls(I hate them with a passion) I have witnessed so many Bengals/Steeler games that were "handed" to the Stelers by the referees like they have some kind of weird "bromance" for that team. I know I sound like a jaded fan but it's unbelievably true! Then later on in the week after a Bengal loss you get to hear on ESPN or NFL Network,"That was a bad call against the Bengals" as they show replays of the game....it really #$%%@# me off year after year! It's so obvious..........

Kenny Anderson never b*tched about it and I had lunch/dinner with him quite a few times over the years. As far as I'm concerned, Kenny was the best QB the Bengals EVER had. How many other QBs come out of a Division 3 school and end up in the SuperBowl?? He's a gracious guy and used to spend ALOT of time with area kids, under privileged OR NOT. Class act and a "salt of the earth" kind of cat.
Hope he gets into the H.O.F one day.....

I have met Kenny many times myself! I lived in Wilmington,Ohio(Bengals training camp)from the middle 60's thru early 70's!

Cincinnati radio(700WLW-AM)has live football radio shows in Cincinnati/Kentucky every Monday. If you show up, you have a chance at meeting players/radio broadcasters!

Kenny will be in the Ohio based Hall Of Fame very soon!

The Bears are in full melt down mode. They went from 7-2 to 8-6. This could be the 6th year out of the last 7 that they miss the playoffs.
