Endeavor's final journey......My son lives in Santa Monica and saw the final journey.....to
me this is so sad that our space shuttle mission is over. I watched Endeavor land at Edwards AFB on one of its missions and then was piggybacked on a 747 to Kennedy space center.....This video is very well done by the Los Angeles Times. Please enjoy...

I was lucky enough to live in Lancaster at the time when they moved the first space shuttle. I got to watch that slow procession not truly realizing history was being made. I agree it's sad to see an end to that era, but truth be told, the shuttles are obsolete.
