MAYBE I MISSED IT...

'Cause I haven't been on this site all week--and I'm too lazy to look around the blogs--but did anybody see what I saw Sunday? Didn't a tire from Carl Edwards' pit roll into the next pit? And he WAS NOT penalized?

I can recall previous years when tires rolled away, and were quickly retrieved, yet the team was penalized. Has that been changed?

I seen it but I don't think it actually left the pit box. I think the crew member caught it before it rolled into the next pit.

I have it DVR'd, so I'm gonna have to go back and look at it, but he seemed pretty far away from the 99 pit stall when he grabbed it. Maybe I'm wrong?
