Howdy Leslie! the caps were playing pretty good there for awhile, last i seen they were only 8 points out, so they still got a chance, just need to be consistent, hawks got off to a great start, i think Anaheim will give them a run for their money in the west.
well with 20 games left in the season the norm in the west are the hawks and ducks, everything else is a free for all the sharks started strong, but have struggled ever since, kings are back to their winning ways, while vancouver and minnesota battle for the NW division tittle, the habs lead the east with the pens and bruins right behind them, should be a good 6 weeks til the playoffs.
Yep, things are shaping up according to the norm of late...Hawks and Ducks, Kings starting to win, etc. The East should be a good battle. Should be a good 6 weeks. It feels like there has been a lot of hockey in this very short season. Guess that's a good thing. I'm kind of glad the Hawks got that first loss out of the way (then lost the next one for good measure)... the streak was starting to stress me out. Now back to winning...
yea id be stressin too, im just glad my team is finally coming together after a rough start, they play Vancouver tues, and im not a fan of the canucks because they go for cheap penalties.
even tho my team beat the nucks tonite, i am tired of the dirty play from teams like the nucks, i have no problem with good clean checking, but dirty play and acting to draw penalties is b.s.
I agree, and the Canucks are some of the worst I think. Alex Burrows is a punk, for one thing. All I see when I look at him is a fight he was in with Duncan Keith a few years ago...he pulled hair during this fight and that was all I needed to know about him.
yup i remember that.... ^^ nothing cooler than a woman who knows hockey, the wild played them monday nite, they were hitting after the whistle, falling down, it was embarrassing, im just glad their is realignment next year and MN doesnt play them as much.
about 2 weeks ago the wild played the ducks, and i couldnt believe how well the ducks played, all around solid game, still a toss up tho, it seems every week i change my mind on who will win it all. one thing i dont like is how NBC will pick the same 4 teams to televise on sunday, its either pitt, rangers, caps or bruins, thankfully i got the NHL ticket, the name eludes me right now, but what a surprise a nucks player was suspended for 2 games for a dirty hit against a coyote player, can they just disband the nucks????? it would be a big favor for the league, fans are morons, started a riot cu they lost the cup....
It sure would. I am so sick of their antics. Whenever I see "Vancouver" on the schedule, I roll my eyes.
I so badly want the NHL package but alas we are in "save money" mode at this time. NBC does show the same few teams all the time. I like Brad Richards but I don't need to see another Rangers game! Used to have the baseball package and it was heaven.
they did have a good deal cuz of the srike, i think i paid 50 bucks this year for the package, instead of the 149.00 only reason i will watch nbc is because of doc emmerick (sp?), to me he is the best in any sport.. i had the baseball ticket too, but i didnt see that many games, because if it was nice out, i didnt want to sit in the house, now if i could go to a bball game everyday, that be heaven,
