PRO FOOTBALL PRE-SEASON COMMENTS?

Well, my Cincinnati Bengals looked pretty darn good this past Friday. Still to early to tell what kind of team we will end up with. :)

The Bengal's beat the New York Jets 17-6. It was a good way to start the season even though it doesn't count. The Bengal's haven't defeated the Jets in pre-season since like the middle 80's? Is this a good sign? :D

Yes, the anointed one Tim Tebow played a little for the Jets. He I guess is chiseled and very buff this year......isn't that special!

But as luck would have it. This game came at a cost in injuries to my Bengals. Folks, it was like the first 5 plays had an injury after each play. The Bengal's lost 4 key first string players within 15 minutes! Hate to say it but this is NOT unusual in my teams history!

Cincinnati has a pretty tough schedule this year:
A.)at Ravens
B.)at home with the Browns
C.)at Redskins
D.)at Jaguars
E.)at home Dolphins
F.)at home Steelers
G.)at home Broncos
H.)at home Giants
I.)at Chiefs
J.)at home Raiders(homecoming of our x QB Palmer!)
K.)at Chargers
L.)at home Cowboys
M.)at Eagles
N.)at Steelers
O.)at home Ravens

So, how well is YOUR favorite team doing!

I've never paid attention to preseason stuff. Injuries in practice or injuries in games...it makes no nevermind because either way they're injured.

Watching a preseason game is like watching golf in my opinion.

I love football, but only when it means something.

Texans won but all Kubiak talked about on his wrap up show last night was all the bad stuff he saw on the field Saturday night.

We don't go to pre season games cuz they don't mean a darn thing. Hence my Facebook picture from the other night where we were all in the pool and drinking adult beverages while watching the game.

I think I only counted 15 games on this schedule...think you left out another game with the Browns

Sorry, but I'll have to root for the Broncos now that one of my favorite peeps is quarterbacking for them. I don't know why, but I heart the Manning bros :D Of course, my Niners will always come first

Well my Colts didn't suck on Sunday. I know it is pre season, and it was the Rams, but not too shabby. I know alot of Colts fans have jumped ship because of the Manning thing, but I was a fan even back in the Jeff George days, so I'm sticking with my team through thick and thin. I will always be a Manning fan, but Irsay couldn't have picked a better predecessor than Luck.

I respect Eli's on the field talent, but I can't shake the spoiled brat vibe I got off him when he was drafted by San Diego but refused to play for them.
