I know there are someplaces in America that will not be able to see fireworks this year or some of our friends that will not be able to attend any as they have plans. That said, I am starting this thread so that we can share some of our photos of what we took this tonight and tomorrow night.
These are from our porch in Bridgton, ME...not bad considering we were a mile away.

Thanks for posting Beaver. We're supposed to have t-storms tonight so I don't know if I'll be able to see anything or not.

thanks beaver. We did go to see some fireworks last night to celebrate our nations birthday. We had our five grandchildren with us from 9years down to 3months. Our 2 1/2 yr old was singing Happy Birthday after we explained to her what we were celebrating. I think she was expecting a cake.

My niece can't have eggs and my brother found this wonderful recipe for an eggless cake that includes graham crackers, whip cream, and I am not sure what else. But it sure does taste good. He used food coloring to create a flag on top.

Wow, some nice pic's Beave. Our t-storms came during the day so it was clear last night. That was the first rain we've had in months so I was sorry it didn't last longer. It did rain pretty heavy though. I was able to see some fireworks not too far from here from my back yard. It just doesn't seem like the 4th of July without fireworks.
