Need help with a name...

My husband and I just leased a coffee hut type drive-thru in the Idaho area and we can't decide on a name. Can't move ahead without a name. Need to make a sign, get the fictitious business name, resale license, etc. and we have to have the name first.

We'll be selling all the coffee drinks of course but we also want the name to somehow convey that we're selling quick food items like hot dogs, nachos, wraps, ice cream, maybe soups. I've asked my Facebook friends and they can't agree on any names either... Some in the running are Snack Shack, The Lunch Box, The Cracker Box, Cocoa Cabana, The Corner Spot (it's on a corner) and The Breakfast Club.

Kind of want to stay away from just Coffee Type names as many of our counterparts do not sell food items, but we're getting a health permit for food as well, so we want to convey that if we can.

Since I need the name ASAP, I thought what the heck? I'll post this in the Lobby and maybe someone here can come help.

So any ideas would be much appreciated!!

honestly my 1st thought when you started listing the stuff you were selling was the snack shack. Then read that was a name in the running. I give a +1 to the snack shack.

"Cozy Corner"., "Cornered and Loving it"., "Beans and Biscuits"., "Java Junction"., "Coffeeteria".,

"The Corner Snackatorium" ., "Joe-N-Go"......just a few to try to trigger a final decision. Will give more thought to it after a couple hours of sleep...

Hmmmm, I was thinkin about "Easy In Caf'e" or "Ease In Caf'e"......Hmmmm, "Blue Bird Caf'e"........

Just make sure whatever you choose, there is nothing in Idaho with the same name. I noticed that there are a couple of suggestions already that are in our area, but are copyrighted and one is trademarked. I am just saying, do your research.

We had wanted The Pit Stop (and you all know why) but there was someone in Sandpoint with that name awhile ago and they probably still have legal right to it plus we don't want to be associated with a failed business. (We've had enough of those on our own when hubby had his heart attack and we had to close 2 restaurants and a bar.) We also thought about The Whistle Stop because it's near a train tracks and trains are plentiful in northern ID. We're on highway 200 but can't think of a name to go with that.

Thanks again guys. Still haven't settled on one yet and it's time to make signs and do the legal paperwork stuff.

Thanks Cindy, me too. Keeping the day job and still going to school but hubby will eventual quit his job if this takes off. Fortunately, my work is fairly flexible so I'll work a split shift and help out at the drive thru during the afternoon when my son's in football practice this summer. I hope it does well enough that we can stay open all year and not just for the summer.

You're a talented writer C. so I was hoping to see some good ideas for names from you!!

The Crossing Cafe'...The your last name or town's name Station...The Switch Track Cafe' or The Switch Track Round-about (as they have to go around your building as it has a drive thru)

We actually had a bar/pub called The Switch Track here for many years until the owners decided to retire and could not find any buyers for it and they called it this because it was their way of getting people to switch tracks and come into their bar/pub. Everything used to come here by rail for over 70 years until roads were built from the cities.

Find out the mile marker number and simply call it "Marker 180" or whatever # you're closest to.

Try again with some of those names because timerk said she is trying stay away from coffee shop names because they will be selling a bunch of food items.
