I don't know who is getting the better end of this deal, the boys who got to go to band camp during their birthdays...or their parents as a present of not having them around.
My sister has twins plus two and thought it was a blessing when the twins were gone on their birthdays one year. Kind of twisted, but what they were doing was way more fun than what my sister and brother-in-law could have done for them that year by themselves. It gave them memories they will never forget.
In Honor of my nephew serving our country out of Baumholder Army Base in Germany.
The boys have been having fun at camp. At the end of the day, the seniors make the kids do stupid stuff to get back things they've lost & other stuff. It's pick on freshmen the whole time. They said something about the seniors have gag gifts they give out each night. I'm sure I'll have hours of listening to do when I pick them up.
Yesterday we took them 80 white cupcakes & 70 chocolate cupcakes for their birthday. Was going to take it to them tonight, but they had some awards being given out tonight, so we went yesterday before their dance. I baked ALL day long, besides going to the store after coloring for the icing. I had Happy Birthday picks on top & some candy shape notes. Not every cupcake had something on it, too expensive.
They call every night before lights out at 11 PM. Except they didn't call last night since we dropped of cupcakes. I'm still waiting to hear from them tonight.
If they were home, I could have taken them to Kings Island, but I'm sure they're having fun anyway. Will take them shortly after they get back from camp.
It is nice at home without the noise & such, but I do miss them too.
Hopefully the skunk leaves them alone. There's a skunk on grounds that everyone avoids. I couldn't believe how close to the music building that thing was.
