so, anyone feel that there will be a strike this year????
i dont feel optimistic about them getting a deal done.

I don't think they will either.
There will be a lockout by the owners, just don't know how long it will last.
Summer workouts won't happen, nor will pre-season.
Hope I'm wrong, but the owners can make money w/o a season, so the players will have to give in a little.

im not thrilled about them moving to 18 games, especially when i heard on espn today they will make more harder to comeback from a concussion, i think they will have to expand rosters.........

NASCAR already pushed back next year's Daytona 500, in case they do make a 18 game season.
Hard to believe the roster is still 53, since the athletes are bigger, stronger, and faster than ever before.
I hope they expand the roster size and keep a 16 game schedule.
17 wouldn't be bad though, it would make tie-breakers easier to manage, being an odd number.
If there's no season, the Indianapolis area tax payers spent a ton of money to host a superbowl and won't get it.

ya know i follow jim irsay on twitter.. he is so upset over the impending lockout.. not because he will be losing money but from what i have seen tweeted from him he is not and does not want to be lumped in the group of owners that are pushing it.

he was one of the greatest qb's that ever played 321 games in a row, played with a broken ankle, the man just love the game, you could see it every time he played, so he had a bad year in 2010, it wont take away from his performance, Favre rules!!!!!!!
