I've seen hail, but...

Wow, I don't remember a hail storm like that one before. Dime and nickle size hail with a few larger mixed in. It lasted several minutes. But the unusual thing was how thick it was. It wasn't coming down in sheets, it was evenly distributed and dense. Tried to take a pic, but it is too dark. Sure am glad I don't have to go any where. I've never had to walk in ankle deep hail! My van was out in it, so I won't be able to check it for damage till tomorrow. Wow!

Thank you for your well wishes. My trailer house sits under a steel roof, which acted like a drum with the hail. Guess it wasn't coming down as hard as I thought because we haven't found any dimples in my van. I sure wasn't going to step out in it to see how hard it was coming down! LOL I did get zinged by a couple of ric-a-shays (sp?)

Hope everyone came through without damage last night. There has been too much harm in our country recently.
