Diecast Collectors(Your Collection, News, etc.)

Was at a yard sale today, guy was selling tons of Winners Circle 1/24's in like new condition, really cheap, plus a bunch of 1/64's and miscellaneous stuff. Mostly had Earnhardt stuff, but what he had out was only part of what he was selling. Am going back next weekend to see the rest of it, said he would have his Newman stuff out of storage by then.

He also had, what he said was a Kevin Harvick race used tire from the 2010 Daytona 500, only wanted $25.00 for it but was negotiable. Really tempted to go back and get it, but don't think there is a COA for it. Would be a cool piece anyway to have.

goodyear keeps track of every tire used and what team gets what, there is like a 5 didget serial number that tells you which car it came off of, which track, and pit stop. i have a schrader tire that is from indy 95 and the store that sold it to me, gave me a number to call to check the info and it was correct.

I just sold my truck today and got a couple hundred dollars for it. My lil woman said because it was my truck, I could use the money from the sale on whatever I wanted to do w/ it. So the first thing I did was get on ebay and got two Ryan Newman cars. I got a TC preferred series Sony Vegga car, and a TC owners series 50 wins car (For 20.00 and it is in the 2009 value guide at $250.00)

just wanted to let ya all know I found a TC first choice car on ebay (found two actually but can't find the other again for some reason) it is $54.00 + $12.00 s&h. I don't know how much you all spend on diecasts, but if this is a good price for you I def recomend buying this car. You will NOT be dissappointed. These first choice cars are by far the nicest diecast I have ever layed eyes on. Look up seller tonjal

I was a naughty monkey this weekend and went to the NASCAR store and picked up a Ryan Newman 2011 Army car, a Ryan Newman 2011 Flashcoat Army car, a Ryan Newman 2011 Stealth Army car, and a Ryan Newman 2010 Haas Automation car. I was real close to getting a Tony Stewart 2011 Office Depot Color Chrome car, but I decided against it for now.

Decided to mount my Tony 1/43 prototypes into a shadowbox, what do you think?

2 of my many favorite "Tony Treasures"... An autographed wing and tire from Tony's Burger King car... I bought it at Stewart Haas Racing Shop in May 2011... Gonna redo my garage and turn the wing into a shelf to hang on the wall...

i am so cool, i got JJ 2011 lowes car today and the DIN number was 48, this is the 2nd time i got one of his cars with the DIN number 48

Lot of collectors pay extra for those door numbers, if you ever decide to sell them.

Got these this week.

Milestone 2007 Alltel, the seller who has a really good reputation told me it was a sample for Penske.
