Re: Steve Jobs has passed away

When I was a kid, our family's 1st computer was a Commodore 64 with a tape drive.
Not sure who manufactured it, but it was about the time the movie "War Games" was produced on VHS (and Beta LOL)
I was a youngster, so pretending to play "War Games" on the computer with my best friend (who later became a computer engineer) was a blast on rainy days.

I also remember taking computer courses in 5th grade in the library using Macs.

This guy, and the Microsoft guy are "iCons" (pun highly intended). They've allowed the entire world the ability & place to go and complain about stuff....now on computers that fit in your pocket.
Do something with your life and go get me a beer.

I agree with everyone here, but raising the American flag half staff in his honor was a bit much unless there is something more i'm not aware of?

Re: Steve Jobs has passed away

Here in Cali, Steve Jobs is 'almost' God, ergo the flags at half staff. He single handily has financially saved the state! Ha ha ha

I'm sure many of us remember the first Apple computer we used... the first the I-Pod came on the scene, the phone, laptops, tablets.... all Steve. He was building "Apple U" ( still under construction ) a private university to teach Apple execs how to think & operate like him, before he died.

Also, can't forget about Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne. Without them, Steve and Apple would not be.

R.I.P. Steve & prayers to the family.
Smoke 'em if ya got 'em!

Sh*t happens... but don't worry, it usually happens to me.

My bad, they raised the flag half mast for the loss of a milatary member overseas, the local news screwed it up and many of us were questioning it.
