Blackhawks signed a 18-yr-old player today.
The report on him is he's playing well beyond his years.
We shall see how he does against the big boys.....

I love NBC, not only for it's coverage of hockey and Notre Dame Home football games, but also because it will start airing Notre Dame hockey games in 2 years.
I've also got versus (now owned by NBC), and Comcast Sports Net Chicago. So if it's too cold to go outside, I will be like Happy Gilmore's dad....glued to the tv when hockey is on......especially if there is no NBA season this year.

directv carries the big 10 network and they show hockey every weekend, so that is neat. i like versus, they started from scratch and turned into a nice channel with hockey n racing.

About the "Commie"cast thing...I dunno' if you just got it, but if your CSN channel is like mine they'll carry all of the 'Hawks games(home and road). And the Caps have their own OnDemand channel that "banks" every game within a few hours of the end...good if you don't like to set a DVR/VCR.

Not a great start for my teams -- Habs got spanked & Canucks shaped up in the third period, but lost shootout.....and now that I've got NHL Center Ice on DTV, I can finally keep up with their turnarounds....I hope!

The Dallas Stars have one HECK of a goalie.
If he plays that way all season (last night was his debut), they will be tough to beat.
