O-bomb-a

That person is causing havock in Cincinnati, Ohio today to talk about jobs & bridge repairs.
I don't know what time he's going to be there, but I heard it on this morn's early news, plus it's going to be on TV. They're asking people to use I-275 to go around Cincinnati instead of trying to go thru with delays or detours.

Just glad I don't have to go that way. Only time I go that way is when we go to Indiana or most vacations, or KY. Speedway.

haha republicans can not even pass their own bill and they got the majority in the house, but thats what you get when you have a congress that opposes things just because the president is a democrat, the nation went down that road having a republican president, hence the 14 trillion debt, btw taxes are lower under this president than the previous..............
I miss you Frehley........

Re: O-bomb-a

when a president comes to town it always screws up traffic. The last time he was in my neck of the woods a little water plane flew into a no fly zone unknowingly. They scrambled two jet fighter planes that went supersonic from portland to seattle in minutes, & when they flew over my area it felt like the building was exploding. Now I know why they dont allow (usually) planes to go supersonic over american airspace. They usually do it over the ocean. It crashed the 911 service as well, since no one knew what it was at 1st.

Re: O-bomb-a

To show you how interested I was in this event, I did have the TV on, but all I had on was movies all day long. I don't know what he said even. We already have all kinds of construction on the highways around here going on. I-75 & Route 35 are still a mess. Sorry to say, but anyone going to the Prelude driving this way to there, I'm letting you know in advance, for the 3rd year in a row you'll have construction to go thru in this area. It's here & there from Cincinnati to Dayton.

Jobs, I know my city is trying to get the closed GM truck & bus plant back in operation with something. Land behind it use to be Harrison Radiator but that building has been torn down & has had health issues on/under grounds from chemicals. People who live across the way in that area has had to have water tested a few times.

What our city is doing is trying to improve the on / off ramp off I-75 to make it easier to get to that land because they want to entise buyers to come in & see how easy it'll be for customers. One of the businesses they want is a casino put over here. I'd have to up & move away if that happened. We're not in the best of neighborhoods to begin with & they're wanting a casino put in.

That casino project was lost to another closed GM Delco plant in Dayton near Huber Heights on Needmore Rd. That too isn't the best of neighborhoods but that little stretch is mostly businesses.

Right now our little city has too much traffic as it is let alone drawing in more traffic from a casino. So far we've not heard of another casino trying to locate so I might have hope.
