...if a website embeds a YouTube video that is determined to have infringed on copyright and more than 10 people view it on that website, the owner or others associated with the website could face up to five years in prison.
If this was to pass, from what I have understood, there is nothing wrong with posting a link to the actual YouTube video with no reprecussions. I got this tonight from the political website I am a member of and they say it stands a strong chance of passing. I know there are a number of members here who have YouTube videos embedded in their posts...even as part of their signature. I just thought this was worth sharing with everybody here.
