To delete a post and other helpful website hints

After you make a post, look in the lower right corner were the edit and quote icon is and you will see an X. Click on that and it will delete your post. But, you have to do it before you sign out of the site at that time.

Re: To delete a post and other helpful website hints

Thanks for starting this thread, I am hoping that we get others to come here for their questions that others can ask us and we can guide them along....instead of a separate thread for every single topic.

Just so everybody knows, there is a FAQ section and I know many a subject matter are covered there, but I have to wonder how often it is used. faq.php

I also know that there are some questions that over time that have come up that are not in the FAQ section that several members have figured out how to navigate their way around and that is why I think this thread will be so useful to us all at one point or another.

The maximum file size is 256KB. If the picture is too large, you will get this error:

You will have to use a photo editor program on your PC to reduce the file size.

How To: Post Photos By Uploading To A Photo Sharing Website

1) Register w/a FREE account at a photo site, like I use photobucket.com

2) use the BROWSE button in Photobucket to find your pic. Bring up the pic you want to post and ( press ) UPLOAD ( button ) it on Photobucket.
Photobucket then gives you the code to copy & paste, underneath or beside the pic.

3. Copy the IMG code, ( because photobucket will give you 4 different codes - you want the IMG code ) open a reply on the board and paste the same way you would in a document. I have always used CTRL + V to put the code in ... and wah lah :-)

Note - Don't use the IMG button on here, if following my way. :-)

** If you see a pic on the web that you want - Right click and save to your hard drive and then follow the instructions above. :-)

Hope this helps - may seem confusing but really only a couple of steps - open photobucket, browse for your pic, upload it to photo bucket, and paste in a reply. :-)
