Wonder what the tires looked like after that run? I'm not sure why they keep getting tire issues, but I hope this week isn't one of them.

great :?
the faster the cars run, the less passing there is after 10 laps of green!
Get ready for the aero train!

I (Ryan & Carl) been lobbying (although I give no money to Brian so my voice is squashed) to take away down force, not give more downforce to the stat Monster. Yes when we talk about faster speeds it makes better headlines. But when you make the car less drivable (& slower) you put it more in a drivers hands, & bigger gaps in stats (but more quality passing)

Re: Michigan Pole

Speeds will drop dramatically when the cars are in race trim. Still these cars are very fast and it takes a very good driver to do like Kevin does to handle his rocket!
Gordon and Jr. both ran 203+ mph, thats Hendrix power and awesome drivers!

Actually Elliott ran his 212mph lap at 'dega in 1987, restrictor plates were introduced in 1988. A MIS track record, yep, but only second fast qualifying lap.
That BE must have had wings!
