Daytona 500

Man Kevin was having a good race, then just got in the wrong line. I was pretty happy with him running up in the top 5, then looked up and he was 13th. Just the nature of Daytona, but man I was hoping he'd keep it up there. 13th isn't a bad finish for the first race, and he's pretty good at Phoenix too, so looking forward to next week!

Re: Daytona 500

I'm not a big fan of plate racing, so, I'm happy with the way the race went yesterday too. Kevin is great at Phoenix so rebounding with a strong run should be easy on Sunday!

Re: Daytona 500

I liked this 500 a lot better than some of the last few years. It seemed more racey this year, and the drivers were doing a lot more than just riding around in a line for most of the race. That could have been because the threat of more rain and such, but it was better I think.

Definitely looking forward to getting the "real" racing started next weekend though.

Yeah they were getting real racy at times! I was never a fan of the "Conga" lines that seemed to be the norm for the last few races. So we'll see how it works out come Talledaga.
