Re: Pit Crew for the #10 as of 5/2

Thaanks but out of curiousity how much do pit crew members make--a yr long salary, each race as pit crew members change at times or on performance or bonus's on good results? I did a search on this but the answers were yrs ago so probably not accurate today but said around 50K to over 100K a yr-- true or not now? Articles also said CC could make over a million a yr ?

Racer.. wants to work on the pit crew :D :D
......now if you want to you want to know what a Championship Crew Chief....like Greg Zippadelli it's ALOT ....he owns a 6 million dollar mansion on Lake Norman.....And ALOT of cars, boats, other property...

I have no idea what the other crew members make, but the advantage is every race is free and, free uniforms, free food, free work out regiment, people want your picture and autograph...lots of travel ...... Ready to sign up... :D :D

Re: Pit Crew for the #10 as of 5/2

Found this on TG's & other CC's earnings. TG made well over 3.4 million in 2013 but his highs were with Ryans yrs as 1 yr over 5 million--talk about over paid with what little he has achieved even as Ryans CC compared to other Championship CC's? Therefore its no wonder Nascar is said to be so overly expensive? However a 6-7 million dollar high earning CC like Knaus the 48 with 6 championships, we could agree hes worth every penny like other Championship CC's as well? 8-)

Links to CC salarys:

Also did more research on crew members & the average earnings is said to be around $72,000 a yr as very few make $100,000 or more-but vary's depending on being with winning teams etc as they do get bonus's? However they are away from home alot traveling so their salarys being worth it is debateable for some Iam sure? Also the fact of how well they do their jobs can aften make for a good or bad race result says their jobs are very important & maybe should be paid even more?
