where Danica is gonna race Bristol in a cup car. This could get ugly.
Hope she keeps her car clean & up to speed, but if she does cause a wreck. I hope it is with Harvick & Kyle!

Will she be in the 10 car? Hopefully she'll stay out of Tony and Ryan's way. Maybe she won't even qualify fast enough, lets hope for that.

I think she'll do just fine as far as car control (which you seem to be worried about)
The troubles will be about the rules of entering and exiting pit road during yellows and green flag stops (which someone always screws up at this track and gets penalized for)
She usually does fairly well on short tracks in NASCAR, as far as car control goes.

not really worried about car control, just get worried when she's in a pcak of cars, she seems a little apprehensive when she doesn't have the room to move around and get in her groove so she can just run some laps, as she likes to say. I wonder what her goal will be this week;
top 20, maybe she'll try for top 15, and just logging laps.

she wont be getting a top 20. She will be 3+ laps down easy, unless there is a yellow every 20 laps (which could happen I guess)
I just hope she doesnt get in the way when being lapped. Like you pointed out her weakness is being in traffic. She gets ancy & makes mistakes when she is in traffic, & she will be in traffic the whole race. When she has time to get in a groove, she makes good lap times, but at Bristol there is no time for that unless you are one of the leaders.
I do applaud her for taking the race this year. It will only help her for next year, but people would be foolish to think she is gonna do any good at all this weekend in cup.

Its just gonna be a learning exp. for her.
I remember spotting for a rookie driver on a 1/4 mile track. Her spotter needs to be paid overtime this weekend. LOL

Schmoopy, if you are worried about car control..........re watch her qualifying lap where she spun out of control and hit NOTHING!! That is CAR CONTROL

I'm tired of this crap. Okay Danica is going to struggle tonight. So what? She isn't going to be in the way. She isn't Kevin Conway. She will probably be like five laps down (if she is three that should be considered a success). But I don't see what the big deal is. Tony Stewart is right. People just need to back off and let her learn.

I think she did well last night...she stayed on the lead lap the whole night. She started 34th and finished 9th. Not bad, considering the way her season has gone.
